How much does it cost to design a garden?

We like to keep the cost of designing a garden simple.

Garden design at a fixed price of £4 per square metre.

This includes the initial consultation to discuss the client’s brief, site survey and full colour A3 drawing (with up to two revisions).

How much does it cost to construct a garden?

The only thing I can compare it to is having a very high specification kitchen installed. Roughly speaking, you need to allow about £120 to £140 per square metre. I would also advise having a contingency budget of around 10% of the overall cost as things can happen during the course of the build that cannot be foreseen at the start.
